Zedler training: product safety / liability and CE marking

In order to protect manufacturers of bicycles, e-bikes, e-MTBs and e-transportation bikes from market and trade supervisory procedures and imminent sales bans, Zedler-Institut für Fahrradtechnik und -Sicherheit GmbH is once again holding their tried and tested (basic) workshop this autumn. The dates for the “Product safety, product liability and CE marking” workshops, which will take place at Zedler's headquarters in Ludwigsburg, have already been set for October 29th and December 17th, 2024.

Training on October 29th and December 17th, 2024 at their headquarters in Ludwigsburg on the topics of product safety/liability and CE marking: the Zedler Institut team.

“After another challenging bike season for the industry with often negative headlines about transportation bikes that are so important for the mobility transition, I recommend that all manufacturers get fit in the field of product safety and CE marking,” recommends Dirk Zedler, founder and managing director of the institute, who is celebrating his 30th anniversary as a publicly appointed and sworn in expert this year, “Our primary goal is the safety of the end consumer and that our participants are prepared for a possible investigation by the market surveillance authorities.”
With the workshop the team around the renowned bicycle tester addresses decision-makers and staff members from product development, product management, service and quality assurance.

It is to provide essential background knowledge and practice-approved methods for placing bicycles, e-bikes, e-MTBs and e-cargo bikes on the market. The workshop includes the topics of conformity with directives, laws and standards as well as the path to CE marking in detail. In addition, the position of the respective companies is determined and first concrete steps are taken together.
